Kinda stoked about these wheels. Would rather he kept them in the Retro brand, so they’d come in other colors, but green is good.

Kinda can’t wait to wear out my current wheels so I can justify buying some of these.

If the 72mm Freerides are awesome (and they are, which is why I own 4 sets), an extra 5mm can only mean one thing: more awesome.

Been riding the Comet FSM for a few months now. It is my preferred board. Love the Comet Pagan and Voodoo, enjoy the Loaded Vanguard, Fibreflex Funshape, and Gravity Minicarve, but for fun riding down a hill, I like the FSM the most.

Just to recap. Rocker. Concave. Wheel wells. Cut outs.

Here are a few pics from a session I was at this weekend at the Lil Surfer ditch, in Austin. These are shots of my friends Jack and John. We were hitting the ditch on Gravity Minicarve boards. They are both Gravity teamriders. Great guys, and a really fun session.

John has really become sort of the master of the Minicarve. He has a great style, and this seemingly primitive board really suits him. I say seemingly primitive because, really, the board is very well-designed.

I have never seen anyone that skates quite like Jack, except maybe pictures and video of Jay Adams. Jack gets sooooo low to the ground, and just skates so fast. I didn’t even gets pics of most of his stuff – he was doing footplants, bonedrechts, etc. Really rad.

This board shape really makes sense to me.Kind of Minicarve/Hypercarve -ish, but this has more nose. Good cutout shape to prevent wheelbite. A bit on the expensive side, but all of Longboard Larry’s stuff is hand made, and he does it all real nice.
