Those blue wheels are Gravity 76mm Hi-Grades. Great wheels.

You are absolutely right about the Randals being well built. They stood up to all my abuse for almost two years, and are definitely still rideable. I’m now thinking about getting another board to mount them on.

Although I did ride the Randals for a very long time, and loved them, I actually prefer my new 10″ Gullwing Chargers on my Earthwing Supermodel. I just found that carving down hills and weaving through people on campus is easier and smoother with the Gullwings.

Nice blog though! It’s nice to hear a simple honest opinion from another Randal fan. What kind of wheels do you have on there?
